There’s a big old seal that visits Garrarus Beach regularly. His name is, predictably enough, Garry. In Gaelic (or Irish as we call it) seals are known as ‘dogs of the sea’ (Madra na Mara)and as soon as Garry appears there’s a big dash to get out of the water for fear of a bite. Gary looks on theses shenanigans out of dark liquid eyes trying to figure out who these strange creatures are and what’s all the screeching about before he slides back into the water in search of fish.
